Probably the high point of the EA Bond run. Levels swing between stealth, gunfights and driving, the gadgets get pleasantly silly and local multiplayer is a real treat. Brosnan in fine voice, story that doesn't take itself too seriously. A proper good time pad in hand.

Is 007 - Nightfire still worth playing in 2026?

A second James Bond on the console, Nightfire extends EA's FPS formula with an original, film worthy story, gadgets, an option laden car and even driving sections. More accomplished than its predecessor, it offers a varied campaign and split screen multiplayer that made for great nights among friends. The tech and enemy intelligence have aged, but the Bond spirit still works. For fans of the saga and convivial retro FPS, it remains a pleasant pick to rediscover.
