A decent spy FPS with gadgets and varied environments. The Bond atmosphere is there but level design lacks inspiration. Local multiplayer partly saves a title that remains enjoyable without being memorable.

An Electronic Arts FPS starring James Bond, Nightfire alternates first person action, gadgets and a memorable driving sequence at the wheel of the Aston Martin, in a classic espionage plot. The cinematic staging, the gameplay variety and the convivial splitscreen multiplayer win over Bond fans. The conventional story and a dated production weigh against current standards. A title for fans of the secret agent and 2000s console FPS in multiplayer.
