Sega arcade port adapted for GameCube. Truck racing on US highways, super-arcade handling, two-player split-screen. The engine struggles on the system, thin content, stiff animations. Far from the original Dreamcast version. Skip it.

Is 18 Wheeler - American Pro Trucker still worth playing in 2026?

A port of the Sega cabinet, 18 Wheeler sends huge trucks down trans American routes strewn with aggressive rivals, shortcuts and timed parking slots as bonus challenges. The driving is firmly arcade, heavy and spectacular, with no pretense of realism whatsoever. The content is very thin and the lifespan limited to a few runs. But the good natured energy and the offbeat concept still work in short sessions, especially for arcade nostalgics and fans of quirky vroom vroom curiosities.
