Flying with the Blue Impulse delivers proper airshow thrills. Tight formation work looks gorgeous and the demanded precision makes any pilot feel like an ace. A lovely tribute to aerobatic squadron flying.

The first instalment of the Aero Dancing series, released in the West as AeroWings, this sim puts aerobatics and the Blue Impulse display team at the heart of the experience. Realistic flying, the precision required and the large number of maneuvers to recreate make it resolutely technical, generous to anyone willing to learn. That purity of simulation still holds real value today, now that the genre has thinned out. Its austerity and measured pace reserve it, though, for patient aviation fans rather than players chasing instant thrills.
