The improbable mash-up of three genres hooks instantly and refuses to let go. The one-more-run loop borders on unfair, even if the visual variety stays modest.

Description
A roguelike by Kenny Sun, published by Devolver Digital in 2025, crossing brick-breaker, survivor and city-building. You fling balls that ricochet through waves of enemies, then build and merge structures between runs. A hybrid loop that's easy to grasp and fiendishly compulsive.

Fun
"From the very first seconds"
Flinging balls that ricochet through waves of enemies delivers an instant, hypnotic satisfaction. Watching the bounces chain and the hordes melt sparks a simple but irresistible joy, graspable from the first second and juiced by an ultra-legible power ramp.
Addictiveness
"Obsessive"
The brick-breaker, survivor and city-management mash-up creates an almost unfair loop: you launch one last run to unlock a building, which makes the next run stronger, which unlocks something else. The power spike is immediate and legible, and the short run length erases any sense of time.

Memorable bosses

At each wave's end, colossal foes appear, soaking up swarms of balls before they fall. Handling their assaults while keeping your bounces going turns these spikes into tests of composure, where build optimization makes all the difference.
