A singular action adventure from Namco, Breakdown plays entirely in first person view, from hand to hand combat to cutscenes, for total immersion in the shoes of an amnesiac hero with strange powers. The rare and bold first person bare handed combat system and the mysterious narration create an experience apart. The stiffness of the gameplay and an uneven production have aged. An action curiosity to recommend for fans of original concepts and immersive first person science fiction.
