Broken Sword point-and-click adventure adapted for consoles with direct controls. Narration still excellent, George and Nico are endearing companions. Inventive puzzles. The Broken Sword series dignifiedly adapted to gamepad.

Is Broken Sword - The Sleeping Dragon still worth playing in 2026?

The third entry in Revolution's point and click saga, The Sleeping Dragon moves George and Nico's adventure into 3D, swapping the click for direct control and more physical puzzles, including crate pushing. The witty writing, the esoteric plot and the charm of the characters stay faithful to the series, despite the transition. The repetitive crate puzzles and a certain stiffness divide purists. A narrative adventure to recommend for fans of Broken Sword and of well written investigation.
