An enriched iteration of Taito's puzzle, Bust-A-Move 3 DX fleshes out the Puzzle Bobble formula with new modes, special bubbles of varied effects and trickier layouts. The colour matching principle stays just as clear and addictive, and the duel mode remains an excellent excuse for tense two player clashes. The modest production and the closeness to neighbouring entries limit the novelty. An effective, generous puzzler to recommend for genre fans and devotees of old fashioned versus.
