A foundational D&D-based action RPG with varied dungeons, satisfying loot and excellent local co-op. Accessible mechanics without sacrificing depth. An underrated PS2 genre classic, particularly fun in two-player co-op.

Is Champions of Norrath still worth playing in 2026?

An action RPG from Snowblind Studios, Champions of Norrath transposes the EverQuest universe into an isometric hack and slash playable for up to four in co-op on a single screen. The deep character creation, the abundant loot and the snappy Diablo style action make it an excellent vent among friends, long appreciated on the console. The repetition of the dungeons and a classic story temper the whole. An excellent game for fans of cooperative hack and slash and loot questing to share on PS2.
