Japanese version of Traveller's Tales' Crash Twinsanity. 3D Crash platformer in a semi-open world, unexpected co-op with Cortex, offbeat humour. A refreshing concept but uneven levels and bugs. The last truly original Crash Bandicoot before the series slipped.

Is Crash Tag Team Racing still worth playing in 2026?

A later variant of Crash's kart formula, Tag Team Racing introduces an original gimmick, the ability to merge two vehicles mid race to combine their strengths. The idea brings a bit of freshness and this entry's offbeat humor adds to the charm, but the driving lacks precision and the content stays uneven. The presentation is colorful without standing out. For Crash fans and lovers of accessible karting, it offers pleasant, good natured entertainment, more original than solid when it comes to pure racing.
