Dance Central 3 travels through the decades with a likeable cast and very varied choreographies. Probably the most generous of the trio, and the cheesy story mode is still a fine excuse for family fun.

Description
Third dance game by Harmonix and Microsoft, October 2012. Dance Central 3 features an unprecedented Story mode where players time-travel to save dance, over 40 new songs and a group sync gauge. Improved Party modes, import of songs from both previous episodes and enriched progressive dance tutorials. The most complete Dance Central in terms of modes.

The third entry further enriches the formula with an offbeat story mode that travels through the decades, and a music selection covering every style. Learning choreographies and chaining them as a group delivers a festive, unifying pleasure. Colourful, generous and fiercely convivial, an accomplished dance game that celebrates the party in all its forms, ideal to liven up any evening.
A third Harmonix entry for Kinect, Dance Central 3 adds a time travelling story mode covering the dances of several decades, from disco to modern, and an eight player rotating party mode. The wealth of the tracklist, the precision of the tracking and the humour of the story make it the series' peak on the console. The Kinect dependency and the closure of online content limit access. An excellent party game for dance fans, families and big active evenings on Xbox 360.
