Insomniac's first game, Disruptor is an FPS where the hero combines firearms and psionic powers, in an aggressive science fiction mood punctuated by live action cutscenes. The blend of shooting and mental abilities brings an original touch, and the pace stays brisk. The handling of an FPS on a pad from before analogue sticks has aged a great deal. A historical curiosity for fans of retro shooting and the curious about the early days of the studio behind Ratchet and Spyro.
