Story
"Anecdotal"
At the turntables, the game blends two tracks into one through daring mixes, from hip-hop to electro through pop. Scratching and chaining these mash-ups delivers a DJ's high as heady as it is unexpected. This sonic inventiveness, cut for the party, gives the game a singular, supercharged musical identity.

Is DJ Hero 2 still worth playing in 2026?

A rhythm game from FreeStyleGames and Activision, DJ Hero 2 transposes the art of mixing onto a turntable controller, where you chain scratches, fades and crossfades over a catalogue of mashed tracks blending hip-hop, electro and pop. The exhilarating feel of the mix, the wealth of song combinations and the cooperative vocal-turntable mode energise the formula. The dependence on the dedicated controller and the closure of services limit access today. An excellent rhythm game for fans of mixing, musical scoring and festive multiplayer party play.
