Day 1 Studios try the brotherly co-op angle in F.E.A.R. 3 with Point Man and Paxton Fettel both playable. The shooting still feels good on a pad, but the scare has left the building in favour of a snappier and far less memorable corridor blast.

Is F.E.A.R. 3 still worth playing in 2026?

A horror FPS from Day 1 Studios, F.E.A.R. 3 leans on cooperation by pitting two brothers with distinct powers, Point Man and Paxton Fettel, in a campaign blending tactical slow motion gunfights and a supernatural atmosphere around Alma. The asymmetric co-op mode and the snappiness of the gunfights win over fans of two player action. The dulled horror and a direction more action than fright divide series fans. A title for fans of snappy co-op FPS with a supernatural component.
