The art direction no longer merely renders the match: it tells it as a director in the gallery would.
Each stadium is given its own sonic identity. Far from an interchangeable crowd wash, a ground has its recognizable chants, its drums, its horns, its way of rumbling as a goal nears, inherited from its real crowd's repertoire. To play in a given arena is to find a murmur you hear nowhere else. The soundtrack thus makes the place a character, each arena owning its voice and its rituals.
