Created by id Software, TeamTNT, the Casali Brothers, GT Interactive and Williams Entertainment for the USA, released in 1996 in the United States and Europe and in 1997 in Japan. Thirty levels of concentrated hell, dense enemies, Aubrey Hodges' atmospheric soundtrack and split-screen multiplayer. Multi-regional edition.
A console adaptation of the TNT and Plutonia expansions, built as a challenge for veterans rather than an entry point, which makes it more obscure than the base Doom. Its ambient score by Aubrey Hodges extends the horror approach specific to the PlayStation ports. Less common than the first game, it appeals to those wanting to complete the living-room Doom line in full.
