A six-degrees-of-freedom shooter ported from PC, surprisingly well adapted to the N64. Free 3D piloting through labyrinthine tunnels, fifteen weapons and wild sensations. Motion sickness lurks and the camera asks for a sturdy stomach, but Descent fans will find an excellent vent.

Is Forsaken still worth playing in 2026?

Forsaken is an Acclaim six-degrees-of-freedom shooter, in which you pilot a flying vehicle through post-apocalyptic corridors firing in all directions at wild speeds. The total freedom of movement and the devastating arsenal provide exhilarating sensations, in the vein of Descent. The disorientation proper to the genre and a high difficulty may put off. For fans of retro six-degrees-of-freedom shooters and dizzying challenge, it is a technical and demanding experience with a very particular charm.
