Is Front Mission 3 still worth playing in 2026?

The third entry in Square's mecha tactics, Front Mission 3 opens the series up with 3D production, two interwoven scenarios branching from an early choice and a fictional internet to explore that fleshes out the world. The wanzer customisation stays deep and the in battle skill system enriches the turn based strategy. The measured pace and visual austerity remain. An excellent entry point into the saga, to recommend for fans of mecha strategy and detailed military science fiction.
