A racing game from Codemasters, Grid strikes a singular balance between simulation and arcade, with demanding yet accessible driving, a rewind system and a snappy TV style presentation. The variety of disciplines, from circuit to touring to Le Mans, and the aggressiveness of the AI make it a dense, rewarding racer. The somewhat rigid career has aged. An excellent racer for fans of demanding driving and spectacular motorsport halfway between sim and arcade.
