DC superheroes reinvented in a dark universe, spectacular interactive settings and dramatic light: the fighting game tends as much to style as to impact. The muscular design of the characters and the snappy staging overflow with character. This visual direction, dark and spectacular, does honour to the comics.
Broken by a tragic manipulation, Superman tips into tyranny, forcing his former allies to rise against him. Drawn from the comics, the plot explores the fall of a hero and the fragile line between justice and oppression. Its dark scenario, rare in a fighting game, gives it real dramatic density.

A surprisingly cinematic story mode opens the show, yet the real staying power lies elsewhere: a roster of more than two dozen DC heroes and villains to learn, hundreds of S.T.A.R. Labs missions and a bottomless competitive ladder online. Each fighter takes time to master, and a devoted community keeps the scene alive to this day.

Injustice - Gods Among Us (PS3) price, value & rarity
A NetherRealm fighting game pitting DC heroes in a universe where Superman turns tyrant, carried by the muscular staging of the Mortal Kombat creators. Printed in large quantity in the West, its collector interest is low and rests mainly on the DC license's popularity rather than scarcity. An affordable piece, often superseded by its more complete Ultimate Edition.
Better with friends
A superhero brawler with generous spectacle, where interactive stages and signature attacks make duels a release as readable as it is gratifying. The competition bets on timing and clever use of the environment, welcoming to novices while rewarding mastery. Local versus hits home among comics fans, who scrap with a smile and replay their dream matchups endlessly.
Is Injustice - Gods Among Us still worth playing in 2026?
Injustice Gods Among Us is the DC fighting game crafted by NetherRealm, transposing Mortal Kombat's know-how into a dark, alternate super-hero universe where Superman has fallen into tyranny. Facing Batman, Wonder Woman or the Joker in spectacular interactive arenas, punctuated by transitions and devastating blows, delivers real pleasure. The cinematic story mode, particularly polished, remains a model for the genre. The online scene has grown quieter on PS3. But for the fan of comics or accessible, brisk versus fighting, the title keeps a fine appeal, especially locally.
