European PAL edition of the GBA Kirby's Adventure remake, distributed under the Nightmare in Dream Land title. This HAL Laboratory reworking in full GBA palette became the reference version of the NES chapter for the PAL market, ahead of the Virtual Console availability. Nintendo Europe run was decent but the European cardboard box often turns up damaged, and a complete copy with manual and Meta Knightmare illustrations is clearly valued among fans of the classic Kirby branch.

Is Kirby - Nightmare in Dream Land still worth playing in 2026?

Kirby Nightmare in Dream Land is a full remake of Kirby's Adventure on NES, doing real justice to the original through color, smoothness and millimeter precise tuning. Every power returns, the pacing remains that of an accessible yet carefully chiseled platformer and the local multiplayer minigames extend the cartridge. For anyone wanting a foundational Kirby that still feels great to handle, this is probably the best possible version today, and a fine entry point to the series for a curious newcomer.
