Is Land Maker still worth playing in 2026?

An action puzzle from Taito ported from the arcade, Land Maker pits two players dropping terrain tiles to build structures and overwhelm the opposing side, in a spirit close to Puzzle Bobble but as a builder. The competitive concept, the readability and the charm of the medieval Japanese setting are winning. The lack of solo depth and the Japan exclusivity limit the reach. An original versus puzzle to recommend for fans of snappy two player thinking and Taito rarities.
