A cheerful sandbox that gleefully parodies cop movies. Cruising this big city is still fun, and the disguise system keeps every mission varied. The Switch resolution shows its age, yet the humor and pacing hold up nicely.

Memorable bosses

In a comedic action-movie sandbox, Lego City Undercover punctuates its romp with spectacular showdowns where you chain combos, dodges and scenery props. The city's crime kingpins, Rex Fury foremost, trigger chases and scripted duels that lean as much on brick-by-brick humor as on the pace of the action.

Better with friends

Roaming the city together drops all the pressure: no game over to split you up, just a free-wheeling joyride where one drives like a maniac while the other triggers a gag. The send-up humor and Chase's pratfalls turn every fumble into a punchline. You poke around, hoover up collectibles, and crack up at botched stunts. Perfect with a kid or a casual partner, and the cruise picks right back up whenever you like.
