Roaming an open brick-built city, swapping disguises to clear an obstacle, then grabbing yet another gold brick: the constant promise of a new ability or a secret tucked behind every corner drives you to comb each street. Chases, mini-challenges and a climbing completion percentage create a round of steady little rewards. Its parodic tone and a world stuffed with nods keep you smiling and wanting more. Drawback: full collection turns repetitive, and the lack of two-player co-op limits the shared fun in this version.

Once the story wraps, free roaming takes over, swollen with challenges and scattered secrets. That meticulous 100 percent, far more than the plot, is what makes its length.
In a comedic action-movie sandbox, Lego City Undercover punctuates its romp with spectacular showdowns where you chain combos, dodges and scenery props. The city's crime kingpins, Rex Fury foremost, trigger chases and scripted duels that lean as much on brick-by-brick humor as on the pace of the action.
