A LEGO kart racer with surprising depth. Building your kart brick by brick is great fun, the five worlds show real variety and the item arsenal nods at Mario Kart without aping it. The handling feels a touch soft, but it's a genuine little family success you can revisit without shame.

Is LEGO Racers still worth playing in 2026?

A racing game from LEGO Media, LEGO Racers pits drivers and vehicles built entirely from bricks against each other on colourful themed tracks, with an editor letting you assemble your own car piece by piece. The kart style power-up system, the customisation and the LEGO world give a definite charm to an accessible, family formula. The driving lacks precision and the artificial intelligence is uneven. For a retro kart fan, a LEGO fan or a player after relaxed racing, the title keeps a colourful appeal and a good natured pleasure.
