A historical Yakuza spin-off that moves the formula to samurai-era Japan, swapping fists for swords and guns. Refreshing and solid, despite a sometimes slow plot and a downscaled Switch presentation. Loaded with delicious side activities.

Like a Dragon: Ishin (Nintendo Switch) price, value & rarity
Set at the twilight of the samurai, the saga's brawler swaps fists for four weapon styles: sword, gun, blade dance and the fury that fuses them. Rival bosses absorb punishment up to slicing, theatrical Heat Actions. Street brawling and period drama fuse into clashes of a distinctly fierce intensity.
A questionable morality
Cast as a samurai hero driven by honor and justice, you spend most of your time pummeling entire alleys of strangers and chaining together fights of gleefully choreographed violence. Between noble quests, you also indulge in a thousand dubious diversions without a flicker of guilt. The gap between the idealistic righter of wrongs and the tireless brawler leaving bodies in his wake is the whole charm of the series.
