Collector interest

An arcade motorcycle racer alternating asphalt and off-road, praised for its sense of speed and its track editor, in a sequel more generous than the first. Still common, it owes its interest to this brisk playability rather than scarcity, the Japanese version being a bit less widespread. An affordable piece for fans of fast late-1990s racing.

Better with friends

A snappy motorbike race best savored in split-screen, alternating tarmac and off-road in handlebar-to-handlebar duels. The competition rewards aggressive riding and risk-taking in the corners, in a direct, heady rivalry. Accessible and spectacular, it restarts easily for a quick race and triggers memorable last-second overtakes.

Is Moto Racer 2 still worth playing in 2026?

Moto Racer 2 improves on its predecessor with more motorcycles, additional circuits and better driving physics. Split-screen multiplayer mode is great fun, and Delphine Software's title offers an effective arcade experience mixing road and off-road motorcycles. An excellent PS1 moto-racer with exhilarating speed sense and immediate handling. A friendly detour today.
