An Imagineer racer with reasonable ambitions. Several vehicle classes, urban and natural circuits, championship and time-attack modes. The speed feel stays decent and the visuals presentable for 1997, with nothing really standing out. A middle-tier outing that holds its head up.

Is MRC - Multi-Racing Championship still worth playing in 2026?

A racing game from Imagineer, MRC - Multi-Racing Championship offers car competitions in several categories on tracks with varied environments, mixing road and off road. The sense of speed, the choice of vehicles and a two player split screen mode make it an honest launch title, in the shadow of the console's racing big names. The handling and the production show their age. For a retro racing fan, someone curious about early N64 games or a collector, the title keeps a decent driving pleasure and a period character.
