My Time at Sandrock review
Repairing your desert workshop, accepting a commission, then mining the materials still missing: the crafting chains interlock so neatly that you always launch one last gather "to have enough to craft tomorrow." Townsfolk to know, seasons and workshops to upgrade weave goals that relay endlessly. The warm desert setting and the visible growth of the workshop renew the wish to come back day after day. Caveat: the pace is slow, and resource farming—sometimes sluggish travel—can weigh on extended sessions.
Rebuilding a desert town is a patient affair: you mine, farm, raise animals and slowly bond with a cast of strongly written neighbours. Between romances, dungeons, seasonal festivals and a workshop that always wants upgrading, the days pile up without ever feeling empty. That gentle, goal-driven loop is exactly what keeps people coming back for hundreds of hours.
