Modern reboot of NBA Jam, the 90s arcade basketball classic. Frantic gameplay with dunks and 2 vs 2 matches. Fun in multiplayer but limited solo. A nice tribute to the original.

Is NBA Jam still worth playing in 2026?

A revival of the cult arcade basketball franchise from EA, NBA Jam carries over the supercharged two on two principle, the flaming dunks and the over the top announcer that marked the arcades. The immediate fun, the outrageous spectacle and the multiplayer thrill still work for short, frenzied games. The depth stays deliberately minimal and the solo content limited. An excellent basketball party game for fans of carefree arcade sport and nostalgics of the original NBA Jam among friends.
