The blacklist structures the whole presentation: each rival has a police-file card, front-on photograph, nickname, vehicle and detailed record, pinned to a board you climb one position at a time. That document becomes the most-looked-at object in the game, far more than the dashboard.
What dominates the mix is not the music but the police radio: called positions, requests for backup and roadblock orders push in front of the tracks, often a few seconds before the manoeuvre becomes visible. Listening carefully therefore amounts to knowing where the next obstacle will be.
