PES 2010 on PS2 is showing its age. The ball still feels good underfoot, but the modes are tired. More of a curiosity now than something to seek out.

Description
A Konami sequel released in 2009 (US, Europe, Sweden, Greece), the ninth PS2 entry in Pro Evolution Soccer. Updated 2009 2010 rosters, an overhauled 360 degree passing system and a readjusted visual presentation. A late release, as the franchise begins to favor PS3 and 360.

PES 2010 - Pro Evolution Soccer (PS2) price, value & rarity
Is PES 2010 - Pro Evolution Soccer still worth playing in 2026?
A late entry in Konami's football simulation on PS2, PES 2010 keeps the series' gameplay finesse and tactical pleasure, with up to date squads, while relying on an end of life engine against the new generation versions. The ball feel and the freedom of actions stay prized by purists. The lack of official licences and a dated production on the console are clearly felt. A technical football to recommend for fans of demanding simulation still loyal to the PS2.
