Is Populous - The Beginning still worth playing in 2026?

The last entry in Bullfrog's divine saga, Populous - The Beginning drops the isometric view for a spherical 3D world where a shaman leads her tribe to conquer a planetary system, spell after spell. The blend of real time strategy, divine powers and terrain shaping offers an original, deep formula. The globe camera and a demanding learning curve call for adaptation. An ambitious god game for fans of atypical strategy and nostalgics of Bullfrog's creative genius.
