An id Software FPS, Rage deploys a post-apocalyptic world of superb desert settings, driven by the id Tech 5 engine and its very fine textured rendering, blending snappy gunfights, buggy races and open zone exploration. The quality of the id signed gunplay, the mutant bestiary and the art direction appeal to shooting fans. The light story, an abrupt ending and texture pop-in temper the whole. A solid FPS to recommend for fans of snappy shooting and a sleek post-apocalyptic world.
