Rayman Revolution is essentially Rayman 2 Revolution. A more narrative adventure, lively hub and splendid platforming. A gorgeous PS2 rework of the Ubisoft classic.

Collector interest

The PS2 rework of Rayman 2, enriched with a more open world and new quests, often judged superior to the original. Widely distributed in Europe and Asia, it stays common and affordable. The Japanese release, quieter in a market lukewarm to Rayman, is the only one with a relative scarcity, a point of interest for those after Asian editions of a Western classic.

Better with friends

A 3D platform adventure brimming with imagination, also savored together thanks to its mini-challenges and good-natured vibe. The shared fun springs from commented exploration and little trials where you pass the pad to land the best result. With no aggressive rivalry, it unites people around its colorful world and clever puzzles you love to solve by helping each other.

Is Rayman Revolution still worth playing in 2026?

Released in 2000 on PS2, Ubisoft's project is the enriched and reworked version of Rayman 2, often considered one of the finest three dimensional platforming adventures of its time. The more open structure, the new powers and the added side quests flesh out an already magnificent exploration. The dreamlike art direction, the varied environments and the enveloping soundtrack make for a world of great poetry. The camera and a few controls show their age. A classic of platforming, recommended for fans of the genre and for anyone curious about an overlooked high point of the console's launch window.
