Action-adventure based on The Scorpion King film. Sword combat, ancient level exploration, film-faithful atmosphere. Mediocre execution, basic gameplay. Of no particular interest despite the licence.

Scorpion King, The - Rise of the Akkadian (GameCube) price, value & rarity
Is Scorpion King, The - Rise of the Akkadian still worth playing in 2026?
Drawn from the Dwayne Johnson film, this action-adventure in ancient Egypt suffered from dated gameplay even at launch. The bare-handed and bladed combat lacks depth, the puzzles are crude and a fickle camera spoils the exploration. The peplum atmosphere lends a touch of charm but cannot save a laborious whole. The title clearly has not aged well, and only a fan nostalgic for the film will find anecdotal interest.
