Accessible arcade aerial combat game in a WWII setting. Varied planes from different nations, varied missions, accessible fun. Less simulator than IL-2 but more fun in short sessions. A good arcade flight game for the original Xbox library.

Is Secret Weapons over Normandy still worth playing in 2026?

An arcade flight simulation from Totally Games, Secret Weapons over Normandy plunges the player into World War II air battles at the controls of varied Allied aircraft, in scripted, spectacular missions. The accessibility of the flying, the cinematic staging and the variety of objectives win over fans of aerial action. The lack of deep simulation and a dated production weigh on it. A title for fans of arcade aerial combat and World War II aviation.
