A sequel to Koei's musou, Shin Sangoku Musou 2, known in the West as Dynasty Warriors 3, thickens the Three Kingdoms formula with a wider roster, varied weapons and vaster, more readable battlefields. The one against a thousand catharsis, the strategic base capture component and the epic mood of ancient China gain generosity and clarity. The repetition stays the genre's inherent pitfall. A good musou for fans of massive heroic action and of the Three Kingdoms epic.
