The Simpsons Road Rage clearly plays the Crazy Taxi card. Miniature Springfield, famous cast and fares to collect. Pleasant, but far less inspired than Hit & Run.

Description
A Radical Entertainment and EA Big racer released in 2001, an officially licensed Simpsons Crazy Taxi parody. Homer, Bart, Lisa, Marge and Apu transport customers across Springfield at full speed under taxi driver Otto's command, who is rebelling against the mayor. 21 unlockable characters, 8 city zones, twisted missions. Successful comedy but dated gameplay.

Is Simpsons, The - Road Rage still worth playing in 2026?

An arcade racer from Radical Entertainment, The Simpsons Road Rage openly takes the Crazy Taxi formula, having the Springfield characters drive passengers as fast as possible across a city faithful to the show. The humour, the cult quotes and the immediate pleasure of cathartic driving work well in multiplayer. The borrowed concept and the repetition limit the long term interest. A good game for fans of the Simpsons and lovers of relaxed arcade racing to share on PS2.
