A sci-fi FPS blending time manipulation and Cold War atmosphere. The gameplay loop stays satisfying despite dated visuals. A solid, underrated title worth the attention of genre fans looking for something different.

Description
FPS by Raven Software transposing an American soldier to a Soviet island infested with a temporal singularity. Published by Activision, released in June 2010 in Europe, Germany, North America, Korea and Japan. Nathaniel Renko American soldier sent to Katorga-12 island where a temporal singularity has merged 1955 and 2010 eras, FPS gameplay mixing shooting and time manipulation with Time Manipulation Device to age, rejuvenate or freeze enemies and objects, over eight chapters crossing abandoned Soviet laboratories, over twelve signature weapons including Seeker with guided projectiles and experimental Auto-Cannon, online multiplayer mode for up to twelve players in Soldiers versus Mutants teams, English voice-over with Patrick Cassidy as Renko.
