A solid kart racer with enjoyable Sega homage. Pleasant but surpassed by its sequel. Still fun for fans of the characters, even if the experience lacks the richness of Transformed.

Story
"Anecdotal"
The art direction makes each track the world of a Sega game. One course borrows the colorful jungle of the ball-rolling monkey, another the tagged city of the skaters, a third the carnival of the maracas game, a fourth the ruins of a space shooter. To race is to visit a whole catalog turned into layouts, each setting faithful to the title it comes from. The grid becomes a guided tour of the studio's heritage.
