Is Spartan - Total Warrior still worth playing in 2026?

An action game from The Creative Assembly, Spartan Total Warrior casts an ancient warrior mowing down Roman legions in mass clashes of epic scale, blending melee combat, dodges and supernatural powers. The sense of power, the number of enemies on screen and the Greco-Roman mythological mood give the action sweep. The repetition of the fights and a conventional story weigh on it. A snappy title for fans of large scale heroic action and legendary antiquity.
