GameCube port of Raven Software's great Jedi Outcast. Demanding, snappy lightsaber combat, varied levels and a solid post-original-trilogy story. Pad adaptation a touch stiff but Jedi essence intact. A fine pick for fans of old-school Star Wars.

Is Star Wars - Jedi Knight II - Jedi Outcast still worth playing in 2026?
Released in 2002, this Raven developed entry brings Kyle Katarn back to the fore and combines blaster fire, Force powers and lightsaber combat. The saber duel, deep and physical once mastered, remains one of the most convincing in the license. The progression, which makes you wait before regaining the powers, rewards the investment. The slow early pace and a dated presentation show, yet fans of demanding single player action and of Star Wars find a Jedi experience that still feels rewarding.
