Story

Taking up John Williams's immortal themes, the music turns dynamic and reacts to combat, ratcheting up the moment the sabres ignite. Heroic brass and martial strings galvanise every Jedi clash. This reactive scoring, broad and faithful to the galaxy, elevates the adventure from end to end.

Is Star Wars - Jedi Knight - Jedi Academy still worth playing in 2026?

An action game from Raven Software, Star Wars - Jedi Knight - Jedi Academy places the player in the shoes of a Jedi apprentice trained at Luke Skywalker's academy, through missions blending lightsabre combat of great depth, Force powers and shooting, with the freedom to choose your path between light and darkness. The richness of the sabre combat system, the customisation of the character and the fidelity to the world appeal to Star Wars and action fans. The dated production bounds the technical ambition. For a Star Wars fan or a fan of lightsabre action, the title keeps a preserved depth and freedom.
