Street Fighter EX3 closes Arika's 3D branch of the series. Solid roster, tag-team combat and tactical options. A notch below the main entries, but pleasant for fans.

Description
An Arika and Capcom 3D fighter released in 2000, the third Street Fighter EX sub-franchise entry. Street Fighter II roster recast in 3D (Ryu, Ken, Chun-Li, M. Bison) with Arika-exclusive characters (Pullum, Skullomania). Original tag-team mode, 3D arcade combat in the EX tradition. An honest PS2 launch but overshadowed by Tekken and Soul Calibur. A curiosity for collectors.

Is Street Fighter EX3 still worth playing in 2026?

A fighting game from Arika published by Capcom, Street Fighter EX3 transposes the saga into 3D with iconic characters and original fighters, emphasising team battles and a multi character tag system. The readability, the super combo chains and the co-op boss mode bring freshness, in a PS2 launch title. The slightly stiff feel and a roster short of the 2D canon divide opinion. A 3D versus to recommend for Street Fighter fans curious about Arika's experiments.
