Supreme Commander 2 brings large-scale real-time strategy to the console. The simplification compared to the PC version is noticeable, but the multiplayer mode is genuinely good and offers a solid RTS option on the 360.

Is Supreme Commander 2 still worth playing in 2026?
A sequel from Gas Powered Games, Supreme Commander 2 tightens the large scale RTS formula by lightening the economic management, speeding up the pace and introducing a more accessible unit research tree. The speed of execution, the increased readability and the generosity of mass clashes win over a broader audience. The simplification disappointed purists of the first game, and the pad stays a compromise against the PC. A good strategy game for fans of spectacular RTS and more accessible large scale clashes.
