A Capcom Disney TaleSpin platformer about Baloo, fairly empty. Improvable handling, decent atmosphere.

The seaplane and its pilot faithfully take up the line of the animated series, with primary colours and thick outlines. The game tilts the aircraft according to the direction taken, which gives body to the flight, and the cloud, island and canyon scenery comes in several planes running at different speeds.
TaleSpin is the USA/EU edition of the Sega/Capcom game adapted from the Disney animated series. Its collector value comes from the fact that it is one of the rare Capcom Disney productions on Megadrive (alongside The Magical Quest) and that the cartridge remains the only 16-bit Sega console appearance of the Disney TaleSpin cartoon.
Is TaleSpin still worth playing in 2026?
A Mega Drive adaptation of the Disney animated series, TaleSpin offers a horizontal aerial shoot where Baloo pilots his seaplane through varied scenery. The series faithful cartoon art direction, accessible handling and dynamic pacing make it a good youth adaptation. Visually colourful and technically polished, the title keeps a nostalgic charm. For anyone fond of the TaleSpin series or seeking a light horizontal shoot on Mega Drive, a valid recommendation today still without any hesitation for Disney fans truly indeed here for any newcomer now.
