Is Time Crisis still worth playing in 2026?

A port of Namco's arcade rail shooter, Time Crisis introduces the cover pedal, a brilliant mechanic that lets you take cover to reload and dodge before popping out to shoot, brought home with the GunCon light gun. The tension of the countdown, the snappy pace and the precision of aiming stay exhilarating in short sessions. The peripheral dependency and compact content limit the current appeal. An excellent light gun game for fans of arcade shooting and gun challenge.
