Best WiiU port of a third-party espionage game. GamePad well integrated for gadgets and map. Sam Fisher remains charismatic and stealth still satisfying. A very good game often overlooked on WiiU.

The image is built above all on the opposition of shadow and light: the safe zones are literally darker, light sources become obstacles, and the triple green point of the goggles remains the only colour landmark in desaturated night settings. The interiors play on reflections in glazed surfaces to signal patrols outside the frame.
The story rests on a countdown: a series of attacks announced at fixed intervals, each striking a different target, which gives the campaign the structure of a calendar rather than of a geographic progression. The decisions entrusted to the player bear less on the outcome than on the means, the question posed being how far one is willing to go.

An Ubisoft stealth game, Splinter Cell Blacklist puts agent Sam Fisher back on mission against a terrorist threat, reconciling the series' stealthy spirit with a snappier pace that lets you choose between shadow, non lethal takedowns and assault. The fluidity of movement, the wealth of approaches and a solid cooperative strand make it an excellent stealth game. The Wii U version uses the GamePad for gadgets and the map. A title for fans of modern stealth and tactical freedom on the console.
