The art direction makes the surface a character. The short green grass returns a dry light, the ochre clay marks the slides and keeps the trace of footwork, the blue or green hard court throws crisp reflections. The champions are modeled with their own gestures, recognizable before the face. The ground changes everything, from the ball's bounce to the color of the image.
