An unabashed heir to Theme Hospital, funny and gloriously absurd. Building hospitals and curing daft diseases stays a delight, and the management gains real nuance. Perfect in short bursts on Switch.

Is Two Point Hospital still worth playing in 2026?

Two Point Hospital is still an instant pleasure to boot up. A proud heir to Theme Hospital, it keeps that deadpan humour and accessible rhythm while modernising the interface and clarity. Building rooms, curing absurd illnesses like Light-Headedness, optimising queues: the management loop is smooth and satisfying. On Switch the port suffers a little, with busy menus and the odd performance dip. The challenge stays light for genre veterans. But for relaxed, funny management to enjoy in short sessions, it still hits the mark. Few sim games are this welcoming while remaining genuinely engrossing.
